A little Happy Mother’s Day special to celebrate over here: an offering of a special, private calligraphy workshop for the Mom in your life + yourself. How ‘bout that? This workshop will include 2 handmade calligraphy kits that you can take home (contents inside each kit below), 2 hours of instruction time, & a calendar date that works best for you & the mom in your life (we can email possible dates that work for everyone after purchase!).
Each kit will include:
1 nib
1 nib holder
1 handmade, clay pen rest
1 black ink
alphabet sheet
practice pad
4 envelopes
+ some bonus items: 1 hand-mixed, colored ink (of your choice)
& a special Mother’s Day card to give to the Momma in your life
You will learn the basics of holding & understanding your pen & nib, dipping ink, practicing upstrokes & downstrokes, scribing the alphabet, & practicing your own alphabet writing style. We will also go over how to write on envelopes, mixing your own ink, & touch on practicing writing short phrases & sentences.
