Last April, I had the pleasure of teaching the lovely ladies from the Anthropologie Print Apparel Team at the Anthropologie Headquarters in Philadelphia. We set up at the famed (& perhaps haunted?) Quarters-O at the Navy Yard, just a couple blocks away from Anthro's building (here is some history on Quarters-O). What a sunny, breezy Spring day it was, filled with Jharoka's famous black sea salt + chocolate chip cookies, & other food items I forgot because I only ate those cookies.
I was able to stay at one of the room's in Quarters-O, & it was just lovely (& not as scary as I thought). The team also showed me around the new building, so I was able to catch up with old co-workers & see the new day-to-day action (boy, do I miss being among amazing clothes!!).
Afterwards, I explored the city I used to call home a few years ago; stopping by all of my frequent spots. Thank you, Anthro ladies, for the honor of teaching you calligraphy!
